ORGANIZATION WORTH OF GOLD
No such force would prevent Split from properly welcoming and celebrating the world gold!
The spectacular reception of the World Water Polo Champions in Split did not go unnoticed. Split once again showed that it is a "mecca" for celebrating sports events.
"There is a big organization behind us in a very short time, but when you have the emotion that these guys bring to us, everything is possible," said the head of events of the City of Split, Lorena Šipić.
Marko Pecotić Peco was responsible for the hot atmosphere of the entire event, who welcomed the Barracudas on stage with an acapella performance of Gibonni's "We are the champions". After them, Petar Šegedin - Pjero sang with the crowd, and Grupa Viva also had the "recipe" for the Split audience, which is said to be very demanding.
The two-hour program was hosted by the famous radio presenters Edita Lučić Jelić and Vedran Očašić, who, as always, were up to the task.
The sugar in the end was the golden water polo players themselves, who showed by their example how, in addition to the pool, they can create a very good "atmosphere" on the stage as well.
The Croatian Water Polo Federation itself gave its approval to the extraordinary organization headed by president Mladen Drnasin.
"I would like to thank the City of Split for this wonderful organisation led by Mr. Puljko and all of you for showing that you value sport and results. Thank you and let's move on", said Drnasin.
"They showed that we are the most sporty and craziest city in the world. We'll see each other this summer after the Olympic Games," said Split mayor Ivica Puljak.
The most sporty city in the world thus once again proved that it is rightfully in the first place when it comes to celebration, but also that there is nothing impossible for them, when they decide to congratulate their loved ones. Then Riva will be tight.
